RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the effect of power PICC with two different external lengths in patients with hematologic diseases. Methods:From August 2020 to August 2021, a retrospective analysis was conducted on 233 cases of hematologic diseases who received power PICC catheterization in Department of Hematology, the Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University, the patients were divided into 0-1 cm group (132 cases) and 2-4 cm group (101 cases) according to the external lengths after catheter insertion. The incidence of related complications and patient comfort at 24 hours, 72 hours, 7 days and 14 days after catheterization were compared between the two groups. Results:At 24 hours and 72 hours after catheterization, the incidence of bleeding at puncture point in 0-1 cm group was 14.39%(19/132) and 9.85%(13/132), in 2-4 cm group was 30.69%(31/101) and 32.67%(33/101), the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=9.02, 14.16, both P<0.05). The rate of redness and swelling of punture point at 7 days after catheterization was 9.09%(12/132) and 40.59%(41/101) in the two groups, with statistical significance ( χ2=32.32, P<0.05). The rates of slightly prolapse at 7 and 14 days after catheterization were 18.18% (24/132) and 18.94%(25/132) in 0-1 cm group, 59.41% (60/101) and 67.33%(68/101) in 2-4 cm group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( χ2=42.18, 55.86, both P<0.05). In the observation of comfort at 14 days after catheterization, the comfort score of patients in the 0-1 cm group was significantly higher than that in the 2-4 cm group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( χ2=7.34, P<0.05). Conclusions:Patients with hematologic diseases can reduce the risk of bleeding and slightly prolapse, and improve the comfort of patients when the external lengths is 0-1 cm of power PICC, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion. The catheterizer should adopt accurate in appropriate measurement method to determine the best lengths of the catheters.

RESUMO

Objective@#To investigate the role of H3K27M mutant in spinal cord glioma, specifically the correlation between H3K27M mutation and histological grade or prognosis.@*Methods@#Twenty-four cases of paraffin-embedded spinal cord glioma tissues and clinical data were collected from November 2014 to August 2016 at the Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital. There were 13 males and 11 females, and the age ranged from 3 to 66 years. All the cases were reviewed histologically, and immunohistochemical H3K27M staining and H3 gene detection were performed. The correlation between H3 gene mutation and histological grading and prognosis of spinal cord gliomas were investigated and relevant literature reviewed.@*Results@#Eleven of 24 cases showed H3K27M gene mutation, and was concordant with the result of immunohistochemistry. Gliomas in the mutant group were all high-grade gliomas with mean patients′ age of (30.0±11.5) years, and a male to female ratio of 7:4. Thirteen cases were wild-type, and these included four high-grade gliomas, with mean patients′ age (31.3±22.4) years, and a male to female ratio of 6∶7. The tumors in the mutant group were mainly located in cervical 4-7 and thoracic 11-12 segments, respectively, and the incidence of tumors in the lower thoracic segments (thoracic 11-12) was higher than that in the wild type group. Outcome data were available for all patients. The median survival of mutant group was 19.5 months, but most patients in the wild-type group were alive at the end of the follow-up period.@*Conclusion@#Gliomas of spinal cord with H3K27M mutation are high-grade and the prognosis of patients is poor.

RESUMO

Objective To know the anxiety status of preschool children in rural areas and to explore its influential factors. Methods Subjects of 1363 rural preschool children aged 3-6 years were selected from Anhui Province( Changfeng and Feixi county of Hefei city; Qianshan county of Anqing city; Funan county of Fuyang city) . The primary caregivers of preschool children were investigated by Chinese version of Spence Preschool Anxiety Scale (SPAS),Devereux Early Childhood Assessment for Preschoolers (DECA-P2) ,Neglect Norms for Children Aged 3 to 6 Years in Rural Areas of China,Adaptation Partnership Growth Affection Resolve (APGAR),Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and Self-rating depression (SDS). Result-s Among the 1363 preschool children, the positive rate of anxiety was 14. 7%. Physical injury fears score was highest (1. 24±0. 84),followed by social phobia anxiety (0. 86±0. 75) and separation anxiety (0. 85± 0. 74) . Except for obsessive compulsive disorder, the other four types of anxiety and total anxiety scores were negatively correlated with the total protective factors of mental resilience (r=-0. 054- -0. 070,P<0. 05). Besides, all anxiety scores were positively correlated with behavioral problems(r=0. 121-0. 237,P<0. 05)and neglect degree (r=0. 157-0. 269,P<0. 05). The results of multiple linear regression analysis of different anxiety types showed that gender, family type, family income status, parental rearing pattern was consistent or inconsistent, children' s neglect degree, behavior problem and anxiety/depression status of primary caregivers were the main factors affecting the anxiety level of preschool children in rural areas. Conclusions In order to reduce or avoid anxiety of preschool children,it is necessary to establish a good family environment,im-prove parents' upbringing level, and take effective education intervention.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the expression of PAX-2 and PTEN in different types of endometrial lesions, and to study their relationship with endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia (EIN). Methods 60 cases of endometrial hyperplasic lesions and 70 cases of endometrial carcinoma were enrolled. All cases were reclassified by using the diagnostic criteria of EIN, and PAX-2 and PTEN were stained to compare the difference among them. Results The deletion rates of PAX-2 in benign hyperplasia, EIN and endometrial carcinoma were 39.5 % (15/38), 72.7 % (16/22) and 78.6 % (55/70), respectively, and there was a statistical difference (χ2= 21.664, P= 0.000). The deletion rates of PTEN in benign hyperplasia, EIN and endometrial carcinoma were 47.4%(18/38), 54.5%(12/22) and 75.7%(53/70), respectively, and there was no statistical difference (χ2=2.878, P=0.411). Conclusion The staining of PAX-2 could be considered as a reliable adjuvant diagnostic method in the diagnostic criteria of EIN, however, the loss of PTEN just should be regarded as a suggestion of EIN, not a confirmed diagnostic basis.

RESUMO

Wether cancer patients can re-adapt to life or not after experiencing tremendous frustration is the focus of tumor care nowadays.Since the measurement methods and outcome indexes of cancer patients adaptation level are different, adaptation related factors and predictors are controversial and there is not yet a unified opinion.Currently,it is thought that demographic information (like age,gender,education),disease-related information (like physiological indicators, treatment options, body image and sex) are closely related to cancer patients adaptation after stress. However there are huge differences among the extents and effects.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects caused by different doses of N-nitrosodiethylamine (DENA) on establishment of a multistep carcinogenesis model of liver cirrhosis in SD rats.MethodsFifty male SD rats were randomly divided into control group (n =5 ) and experimental group (n =45 ).Experimental group consisted of 3subgroups(high,median and low dosegroup ),which were intragastrically induced DENA once a week for 10 weeks,by using 70,50,35 mg/kg DENA solution, respectively.MRI was performed for inspecting pathological changes of rat livers in the following weeks. The mortality rates of different groups were calculated. The differences of the incidence of dysplastic nodule (DN)found in three groups were analyzed with Pearson Chi-square test.ResultsThe multistep carcinogenesis development from regenerative nodule (RN) to DN to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) was showed in the SD rat model. Two rats in median dose group and 4 rats in high dose group died. The incidence of DNs found in 3 different groups was 20.7% ( 6/29 ),30.6% ( 19/62 ),14.3% (9/63),respectively,which showed no significant difference among three groups(x2 =4.901,P > 0.05).However,significant difference existed between median and high dose group( x2 =4.811,P < 0.05 ).Combined with the MRI presentation, the intragastric dose of 50 mg/kg could be more appropriate among three different doses.ConclusionsThe median dose DENA could induce an ideal multistep carcinogenesis model of HCC which is suitable for investigating DN on MRI.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the association of interleukin (IL)-1 genotypes with Alzheimer′s disease (AD). Methods Using polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism, the IL-1A (-889) and IL-1B (+3953) genotypes in 84 cases of AD and 139 controls were detected and analyzed. Results The frequencies of IL-1A(- 889) C/C, C/T and T/T genotypes were 72.6% and 84.2%, 23.8% and 14.4%, 3.6% and 1.4% in AD cases and controls respectively. The genotypes frequencies of IL-1A (-889) C/C, C/T and T/T in AD cases were similar to that of controls (χ2=4.53, P>0.05), but the frequencies of IL-1A (-889) T allele were significantly higher in AD cases than in controls (15.5% vs. 8.6%, χ2=4.93, P<0.05). The frequencies of IL-1B (+3953) C/T genotypes and T allele were also significantly higher in AD cases than in controls (16.7% vs. 6.5%, 8.3% vs. 3.2%, χ2=5.88,5.56, both P<0.05). Conclusions IL-1 genotypes are associated with AD. IL-1 genotypes may play an important role in the development of AD.
